We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable experience for our guests. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
* Lead and assistant in managing the bar team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
* Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimising waste.
* Ensuring compliance with all statutory obligations covering Health & Safety at Work, Food Safety Act, Licensing Laws, Fire regulations and emergency procedures.
* Train and mentor staff in bartending techniques, customer service skills, and product knowledge.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it meets the highest standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a bar supervisor role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service..
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
