Radio Communications Technician
* Location: Kidlington
* Rate: £200 per day, inside IR35
* Contract: Until end of September (possible extensions)
About the Role
We are seeking a technically skilled Radio Communications Technician to join our team. This role is a mix of hands-on radio maintenance and data-driven system management. While you will work with radio equipment, the role is heavily focused on programming, databases, and ICT systems.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain, program, and troubleshoot radio communication systems.
* Manage and update technical databases and radio programming software.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity across ICT systems.
* Analyse system performance, identify issues, and recommend improvements.
* Support colleagues with technical guidance and system administration.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in data management and database-driven software.
* ICT competency, including Microsoft Office (Excel), Salesforce, and programming/database tools (e.g., Radio Manager 2).
* Experience with radio communications equipment and systems is beneficial.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
