Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Cardiff / Hybrid (2 days office / 3 days remote)
Salary & Package: £45,000 + 43 days annual leave and a further strong benefits package
Sea Global are proud to be supporting a well-regarded Education institution in their search for a Procurement Officer to join their dynamic and growing team.
Following significant investment into procurement and a strong pipeline of strategic projects, this is an exciting time to come on board. The function is well-embedded within the organisation and operates with full backing of the leadership team.
Reporting into a forward-thinking Procurement Director, you'll help manage the Estates and Facilities Management (FM) category – a critical area with high visibility and impact. From day one, you’ll be trusted to lead tenders and influence key stakeholders across the University.
This opportunity would suit someone with a background in public sector procurement who’s looking to broaden their experience and work on meaningful, tangible projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end procurement processes across Estates and FM, from tendering through to supplier management
* Run compliant and commercially sound tenders, including Frameworks
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
* Develop and implement strategic category plans aligned with long-term objectives
Experience & Requirements
* Strong procurement experience across the full lifecycle
* Knowledge of public procurement regulations (PCR2015, Procurement Act, OJEU, UCR etc.)
* Estates, Hard or Soft FM experience would be ideal – but not essential
* CIPS qualification is desirable, but not mandatory
