Role: Branch Manager

We are recruiting for a Branch Manager on behalf of a successful Electrical Wholesaler in the Rochdale area.
Managing a small team this is a great opportunity for either an experienced Branch Manager or an ambitious Sales Manager looking for their first branch management position.
As the Branch Manager, you will have full autonomy over sales, purchasing, staffing and logistics.
Responsibilities:
• As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the contribution by the branch in line with the business plans and overall company policy and strategy
• Responsible for managing and achieving branch budgets and targets
• Developing strategies for increasing existing business, new business and lapsed accounts
• Providing comprehensive training and development for staff
• Ensure that your team meet operational standards
• Participating in proactive and reactive sales – both internally and externally based
• Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities
Skills / Experience:
• Confident working with key performance indicators with an impressive track record in delivering on sales, profit and margin targets
• Ability to motivate a team and lead by example
• Ability to communicate at all levels, whether it be with your team or negotiating with your customer
• Must have a proven track record working within the Electrical Wholesale market
• Dynamic, good sense of humour and a passion for the electrical wholesale industry
