Offer description

We are growing – and that means an exciting opportunity has opened up for a vibrant, enthusiastic Support Worker to join our community team! You would be supporting a young man who has recently joined our adult services programme, helping him settle in and thrive.

Please note: Autism Unlimited does not provide visa sponsorship

The role

Callum is a cheerful young man who communicates using Sign-a-long and vocal sounds to express the syllables of the words he’s trying to say. If you’re new to Sign-a-long, don’t worry—we provide fantastic training as part of your induction, so you’ll feel confident in no time.

Callum loves getting out and about in the community—whether it’s a trip to the park or a visit to the beach. He uses a wheelchair to support his mobility but also enjoys walking a little and standing to pick something up when he chooses.

He’s also a big fan of creative activities like playing with Play-Doh and getting stuck into arts and crafts at his day provision. At home, Callum is all about comfort—he loves snuggling up with his cuddly toys, wrapping himself in cosy blankets, and watching his favourite shows on CBeebies.

Callum is supported on a 2:1 basis and thrives with upbeat, enthusiastic staff who bring positive energy and boost morale. If you're someone who can bring smiles and sunshine to every shift, we’d love to hear from you!
