What you’ll do
* Lead the Cyber Security/Prevent team in Logging & Monitoring, supporting security tools and driving platform optimization across Vodafone Group and local markets.
* Oversee platform configuration, development, and optimization.
* Provide technical leadership across multiple squads.
* Work closely with Product owner to prioritise and maintain backlog.
* Evaluate and implement new design methods to reduce cyber risks.
* Provide technical expertise and decision making on strategies like Tooling cluster, patching & monitoring.
* Lead a team of Devsecops Engineers.
* Drive automation to improve maintainability and efficiency.
Who you are
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
* Hands‑on experience with Elastic Stack, Kubernetes, Cloud (GCP preferred), CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps practices, automation tools, and Linux environment
You bring a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset, with experience in:
* Working with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
* Python development for automation and data processing
* Managing Kubernetes operations and containerised environments
* Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform and Ansible
* Leveraging cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure)
* Utilising BigQuery or similar cloud‑based data technologies
* Performing cybersecurity data analysis and mapping
* Engaging effectively with stakeholders across teams
* Cyber Security, SIEM/SOAR, On‑premises infrastructure, Machine Learning/AI, SAFe Agile
