Sawtry Junior Academy is seeking a committed and compassionate Inclusion Manager to lead and develop inclusive practice across the school. You will manage day‑to‑day inclusion provision, providing a safe, calm and appropriate learning environment for pupils aged 7-11 (Key Stage 2) in the village of Sawtry, Bedfordshire.
Responsibilities
* Manage the inclusion provision and provide academic support and appropriate pathways for children.
* Adapt and deliver curriculum lessons and activities to small groups of pupils in provision.
* Be responsive to challenging behaviours of children and provide valuable support and guidance.
* Promote and secure a positive learning environment for all students.
* Maintain a nurturing, calm space to support the social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils.
Qualifications
* Experience of working with young people in an advisory capacity.
* High level of personal organisational skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively influence students.
* Team‑player with a ‘can‑do’ solution‑focused attitude.
* Outstanding communication skills and personal integrity.
Benefits
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 7, Point 12-19 (£24,561). Hours: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time + 5 days).
