We are recruiting on behalf of a leading water treatment services provider, recently acquired by a multinational company with ambitious plans to expand operations across Ireland. This well-established business serves a wide range of sectors, including hospitals, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and private healthcare, with a particular specialisation in Legionella control and pure water systems. Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its team. This is a permanent role with excellent prospects as the business develops further within Ireland. Your Duties: On-site servicing of water treatment systems and equipment. Fault finding and electrical diagnostics, particularly on control panels. Mechanical repairs and PVC pipework maintenance. Communicating clearly and professionally with clients. Working independently in the field. Occasionally working outside of standard hours when required. Supporting the development of the engineering team. Your Profile: Essential Criteria: Electrical field experience, ideally including control panel fault finding. Sound mechanical knowledge. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise directly with customers. Ability to work independently. A proactive and committed approach to the role and team development. Willingness to work outside normal hours if required. Desirable Criteria: 18th Edition certification. Full, clean UK driving licence. Experience in PVC pipework repairs. GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science. Minimum of 2 years' experience in equipment servicing. Your Benefits: £36,000 £38,000 per annum. Pension Contribution. Benefits package including: Company van with fuel, expenses and mobile phone, PPE and tools provided; Pension scheme; Overtime rates: Time and a half (MondayFriday), Double time (Weekends); 20 days holiday plus all statutory/public holidays; Field and supplier-based training opportunities. Additional Information: Full time, Permanent. 37 hours per week. 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday.
