Due to additional funding, there is an exciting opportunity to expand the already well-established Special School and Complex Needs Nursing Team in Redbridge.
We are looking for registered Paediatric Nurses to work as part of the Specialist School Nursing Team. The role involves supporting a defined caseload of children and young people aged 3-19 years with complex healthcare needs and disabilities within community and school settings. Responsibilities include assessing, managing, planning, and delivering care, with professional and legal accountability.
The post holder will work in schools with children who have a range of learning disabilities and complex health needs, performing clinical procedures in partnership with other professionals and agencies to meet identified care needs. The nursing team establishes effective communication, working closely with parents, carers, educational staff, and other agencies to ensure children achieve their full potential in school.
