Salary: £75k to £85k pa depending on experience plus benefits
Our client requires an Operations Director with a working knowledge of lean manufacturing.
Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and direct a team of over 100 people.
* Improve all‑round professional standards and team performance.
* Develop individuals within teams.
* Lead and promote innovative change and modern methodologies within the manufacturing area.
* Enhance quality and delivery performance to meet stringent customer requirements and lead times.
* Identify, promote and deliver cost reductions.
* Promote health and safety throughout the workspace.
Qualifications
* Substantial and successful experience managing people and processes to high quality standards in time‑constrained activities while also reducing costs.
* A “shirtsleeves”, hands‑on approach to delivering objectives.
* Demonstrable success in creating and implementing change programmes with measurable positive impacts on customer service, quality and cost.
* Proven organisational and project‑management skills.
