Hours
12 hours per week: 2 hours per day (1½ hours in the morning from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM, 0½ hours in the evening from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM).
Hourly Rate
Age‑related National Minimum Wage up to £13.43 per hour.
Holiday
5.6 weeks per year, pro‑rata.

South Shields.
Role Overview
Provide personal care support for a tetraplegic woman in her 60s, including bathing, dressing, light household duties, meal preparation and occasional shopping. Full training will be provided for all tasks. The position requires single‑handed personal care and will be part of a two‑person team.
Responsibilities
* Assist with bathing, dressing and personal hygiene.
* Support light household tasks such as cleaning and organising.
* Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required.
* Occasional shopping for groceries and household items.
* Accompany the client to activities such as days out, swimming, gym, cinema, theatre and holidays.
Qualifications and Preferences
* Female candidates preferred.
* Previous experience in a social care setting is an advantage.
* Must have permission to work in the UK.
* Holder of the post must meet the genuine occupational requirement for gender as stipulated by the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and the Equality Act 2010.
