Key responsibilities include overseeing the people integration during mergers and acquisitions to ensure seamless transitions and alignment of organisational cultures, values, and people strategies. Although initially a stand-alone role, there is significant potential for growth, with the possibility of advancing to Chief People Officer based on performance and company expansion. Key Responsibilities: Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's objectives, particularly focusing on growth through acquisition and strategic people planning. Culture and Engagement: Cultivate a workplace culture that prioritises employee well-being and adheres to ethical practices. Lead initiatives to enhance work-life balance, recognise employee achievements and maintain high staff morale. Talent Acquisition and Management: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to secure and retain top talent. Design talent acquisition strategies that attract diverse candidates and fill organisational skills gaps. Employee Development: Initiate and oversee robust employee development programs tailored to enhance professional growth, including training, mentorship, and succession planning. Retention Strategies: Develop and implement effective retention strategies that reduce turnover rates and encourage long-term commitment from high-performing employees. Performance Management: Implement comprehensive performance management systems that facilitate regular feedback, goal setting, and performance appraisals. Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly engage with senior stakeholders, providing strategic HR insights and updates. Build and maintain strong relationships with management to ensure HR strategies effectively support business needs. Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure adherence to HR policies and legal regulations, continuously updating policies in response to changing laws and business needs. Qualifications / Experience: Proven track record in HR management within a tech-enabled, high-growth environment. Strong background in strategic people planning and managing growth through acquisition. Capable of strategic thinking and hands-on management in a dynamic setting. Experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and reporting at the executive level. Relevant HR qualifications: CIPD certification is highly desirable.
