We are expanding our field service team and are looking for motivated individuals to join us as Trainee Field Service Engineers. What You’ll Do * Support experienced engineers on site across Yorkshire and the UK as required * Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical assets and systems in the utilities sector * Learn and apply rope access, confined space rescue and other specialist techniques * Work to the highest standards of health and safety * Gain hands-on training in specialist equipment and engineering practices What We’re Looking For * A genuine interest in engineering and practical, hands-on work * Willingness to work outdoors and in sometimes challenging environments * Flexibility to travel and stay away from home as and when required * Physically fit and comfortable with working at height and in confined spaces * A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn * Must hold a current full UK driving licence Any previous experience of the following would be highly advantageous * Mechanical maintenance * Fabrication, Welding * Heavy engineering * Heavy machinery * Mechanics * Construction * Experience with valves, pumps, gearboxes, actuators, pipework, etc What We Offer * Full training programmes * Clear career progression to Field Service Engineer and beyond * Potential of further engineering qualifications and education * Competitive salary with overtime and allowances for travel The chance to work on unique and exciting projects across the utilities industry and a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their engineering career to gain rare and valuable skills while being part of a specialist team
