Overview
Join PwC UK as a Microsoft D365 F&O Solution Architect – Senior Manager. Our Microsoft practice in Consulting mid‑market transformation has seen significant growth, and we are looking to expand our capabilities to meet market demand.
Responsibilities
* Be involved in 2–5 Microsoft implementation or optimisation projects simultaneously as an SME.
* Overall responsibility for Microsoft D365 implementation from technical, functional, and organisational change management standpoint.
* Participate in business process mapping, including analysis and design, gap analysis, functional system design and specifications, system configuration, development of system tests, procedures, and documentation.
* Analyse business/technical requirements, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide recommendations.
* Report to a partner or director and deliver Microsoft‑related work to a varied portfolio of organisations across the UK in targeted industries.
* Push the boundaries of what is possible, create and lead new ideas and concepts through to fruition.
* Build and maintain deep, long‑lasting client relationships.
* Lead business development activity: write client proposals, facilitate show home or model office, prepare and deliver client pitches with team support.
* Develop the careers of the teams you work with and raise the team profile externally by expanding the network, including with external bodies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience as a Microsoft D365 Solution Architect and senior/lead consultant.
* Design experience for custom Microsoft architecture.
* Strong exposure to finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and warehouse management process implementation.
* Experience architecting Microsoft integrations with third‑party systems.
* Develop innovative solutions across a range of industries.
* Lead business process design and discovery sessions.
* Evaluate software purchases against SOW and provide gap solutions.
* Develop customised functional design documentation.
* Knowledge of third‑party vendors to enhance overall solution.
* Experience demoing Microsoft D365 modules as proof of concept.
* Presales experience and assistance to the sales team with scoping and SOW presentations.
* Work with project manager to manage scope and initiate change management procedures.
* Industry experience: at least 10 projects within manufacturing, industrial services, engineering, construction, business services, retail, and hospitality verticals.
* Good process knowledge of Microsoft solutions across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and warehouse management is preferred.
