Overview
We are seeking a dedicated The Pharmacy Manager cum Dispenser will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality pharmaceutical services while also supporting dispensing duties. The role combines operational leadership with hands-on dispensing responsibilities to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
* Pharmacy Management:
* Oversee and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy.
* Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, NHS contractual obligations, and company SOPs.
* Manage and lead the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.
* Maintain adequate stock control, ordering, and expiry checks to minimize wastage.
* Implement and monitor health & safety procedures and security measures.
* Prepare reports for management regarding pharmacy performance, KPIs, and financial targets.
* Coordinate with external healthcare providers, GP surgeries, and suppliers for seamless service delivery
Dispensing & Clinical Duties:
* Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions in line with legal and professional requirements.
* Provide professional advice on the safe and effective use of medicines.
* Support the delivery of pharmacy services such as NMS, Flu Vaccinations, BP Checks, etc.
* Check prescriptions for accuracy and resolve clinical queries where appropriate.
* Maintain accurate patient medication records (PMR) and controlled drug registers.
* Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, NHS contractual obligations, and company SOPs.
* Manage and lead the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:
* GPhC-registered Pharmacist OR NVQ Level 2/3 Pharmacy Dispenser qualification.
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a community pharmacy setting.
* Previous experience in supervisory or management role preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
