Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an opportunity to join our Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment team in Southwest Staffordshire based at Haywood Lodge, Stafford.
We work with people who are experiencing a mental health crisis, require extra support alongside their regular support network, or can receive the same treatment at home that they would get in a Mental Health Hospital. As an integral part of the Urgent Care Pathway, we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This is a 24‑hour service; team members are required to work rostered shifts, including weekends and nights, and must have suitable transport to cover the geographical area for their shifts.
Main duties of the job
* Assess mental health crises in individuals referred to the service and support the delivery of safe and effective home treatment in accordance with a wellbeing and recovery action plan.
* Participate in delivering the agreed aims and objectives of the service, identifying factors that may inhibit achievement.
* Provide high‑standard nursing care to service users referred to the team.
* Implement agreed systems for monitoring the effectiveness of care.
* Participate in the education and management of junior staff.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered mental health nurse on NMC register.
* Post‑registration experience with evidence of formal courses and training at diploma/degree level.
Experience
* Extensive post‑registration experience working with adults experiencing mental health related difficulties.
* Experience of integrating care delivery across multidisciplinary/multi‑agency teams.
* Experience and ability to carry out clinical audit.
* Experience working in CRHT.
