An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Solicitor to join the firm's Worcester office. The role sits within a busy and successful Care team handling a high volume of publicly funded childcare matters, with a particular focus on representing parents in care proceedings.
The Opportunity
- Manage a varied caseload of public law children matters, predominantly acting for parents
- Conduct advocacy where appropriate and instruct counsel when required
- Work closely with clients, local authorities and other professionals involved in proceedings
- Contribute to the continued success and development of the Care department
- Benefit from ongoing training, funded qualifications and a structured career progression pathway
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX) or equivalent
- Ideally 5+ years' PQE, although applications outside this level are welcomed
- Strong experience handling publicly funded childcare matters
- Able to manage a busy caseload independently
- Committed to providing excellent client care and achieving positive outcomes for clients
Salary & Benefits
- Salary circa £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave plus birthday off

This is a full-time, primarily office-based position in Worcester. One day of hybrid working is available following successful completion of probation.
