Errigal Motor Co, currently have a great opportunity available for a Vehicle Technician to join our talented team!
You will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle preparation from sales preparations to fault finding, to service and repairs.
Duties will include but not limited to:
Perform diagnostic assessments, repairs, and maintenance on a range of vehicles.
Carry out routine services, including oil changes, brake repairs, clutches and timing belts.
Road test vehicles to identify issues
Inspect vehicles for safety and compliance with industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and in a timely manner.
Order vehicle parts from suppliers
Book and take vehicles to MOT appointments
Qualifications
Proven experience as a mechanic, with a focus on cars and light vehicles.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) is preferred, completed to a minimum level 3.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
A valid (clean) driving license is essential and must be over 21 for insurance purposes.
We will consider both Full Time and Part time hours for this role
Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday: 9am to 5pm
Overtime when required
