Overview
We are looking for an experienced researcher to assist the School of Law and Justice Studies with applied research opportunities with Criminal Justice Partners. You will need to relish problem solving and working with partners, such as the Ministry of Justice, the Police Service and other government departments. Some of the work will be sensitive; it will be advantageous if you hold some level of government vetting or are prepared to gain it once in the job.
Key responsibilities and requirements
A particular interest in the areas of serious and organised crime including fraud, cybercrime, and human trafficking would be helpful. The job will demand initiative, good collaborative skills and the ability to write both reports and ultimately assist in writing publishable journal articles.
