As a Food Technician, you will be an integral part of our food technology team, supporting teachers and pupils in delivering engaging and informative practical lessons. You will assist in the preparation of materials, equipment, and ingredients for food technology classes, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.

Job Responsibilities:
7. Prepare and set up equipment, ingredients, and materials for food technology lessons and practical sessions.
8. Assist teachers and pupils during practical activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in food preparation areas, including kitchens and storage areas.
10. Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplies for food technology classes.
11. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP principles.
12. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of food technology equipment and facilities.
13. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate food-related events and projects.
Preferred skills:
14. A relevant qualification in food science, food technology, or a related field.
15. Knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and culinary techniques.
16. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
17. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
18. Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for pupils.
Personal Attributes:
