GSL Education are currently appointing a Drama Teacher to work within schools across Sheffield, supporting learners in the S2 and S3 areas and helping them develop performance skills, teamwork, and confidence. As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that encourage students to explore acting, improvisation, and stagecraft, while building communication skills and self-assurance. Prime Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating drama lessons and workshops. Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork in students. Support the development of acting, improvisation, and performance skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Organise and supervise performances, rehearsals, and school productions. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Requirements of Drama Teacher: Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience teaching drama. Strong knowledge of drama techniques, performance, and the curriculum. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to motivate students and foster creativity and confidence. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
