9 Day working fortnight, 37hrs a week, 33 days holiday, onsite parking
Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong UK & international presence they are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their close knit team.
Role & Responsibilities
* Ensuring compliance with quality standard ISO9001, ISO14001 in line with product and service standards
* Root cause analysis, creating non-conformance reports, implementing corrective actions
* Use of process improvement tools - 5S, 5Y, 8D
* Liaising with customers regarding problems and monitor agreed corrective actions
* Maintaining quality documentation, utilization of QMS systems
* Internal and external audit management
* Working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering Degree
* Proven experience working within manufacturing environments
* Working knowledge to ISO9001, ISO4001 standards
* Knowledge of CMM\'s, GD&T
* Reading Engineering drawings
