We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Support Assistant to provide day‑to‑day support to Members and Fee Earners. You will be responsible for managing a variety of administrative, clerical, and client‑facing duties to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Member Support
1. Support Members with the daily management of their caseloads.
2. Approve decisions, requests, expenditure, and recommendations on behalf of Members where appropriate.
3. Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
Communication & Correspondence
4. Answer telephone calls and emails promptly, providing a high standard of customer service.
5. Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, suppliers, visitors, and third parties.
6. Monitor and manage the office email account.
7. Interpret and respond effectively to spoken and written instructions.
Administration & Record Keeping
8. Log and maintain accurate, detailed records of calls and communications received.
9. File, date‑stamp, and complete general clerical duties as required.
10. Type and word‑process various documents and electronic information.
11. Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and assist with team activities.
Office Management
12. Order and maintain appropriate office supplies.
13. Perform reception duties in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
14. Assist with legal aid applications and upload information in support of Fee Earners.
Professional Standards
15. Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance.
16. Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
17. Pursue ongoing personal development to enhance skills and job performance.
