Overview
An exciting brand‑new opportunity has arisen for a passionate individual to join our client’s expanding Health, Safety, Risk and Compliance Team. The successful candidate will play a starring role in continually improving their H&S, Quality and Environmental workstreams, all whilst contributing to the delivery of world‑class events across their campus.
Responsibilities
The role will support the Event Management Team in developing and implementing ISO20121, Sustainable Event Management, and will work with the Facilities Maintenance Team on ISO14001 and Environmental Management. It will help safely deliver high‑quality events and services across the client’s world‑class events campus, requiring positive and energetic enthusiasm for health, safety and quality management practices to inspire and guide staff to a safer tomorrow.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
* Hold a Level 2 Mathematics and English at Grade 4 or above, or be willing to work towards a Level 2 Function Skills Course.
* Be willing to work towards a Level 3 Occupational Health and Safety Qualification.
* Be willing to work towards a Level 3 Internal Audit and Inspection Qualification.
* Be willing to work towards a Level 3 Food Safety in Catering Qualification.
* Be reliable and a conscientious team player.
* Have excellent attention to detail.
* Have a good level of personal integrity and confidentiality.
* Be ambitious, with the desire to own one’s professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in retail, hospitality, leisure or tourism businesses.
* Work or volunteering experience.
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages.
