This opportunity is based at Peak’s headquarters (HQ) in Inchinnan, just outside Glasgow, and is part of our busy Marketing team. The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in global marketing funnel management, primarily through opportunity reporting, Excel data formatting, Net Promoter Score syndication, reporting on marketing activities from key data sources, and supporting the global marketing team’s content and communication tactics.
As the business system user, the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for raising orders, ensuring timely payments with colleagues in Accounts, raising Purchase Orders, and pulling stock reports for marketing materials held at HQ.
Supporting the global business by actioning internal marketing support requests, liaising with marketing colleagues to deliver efficient, high-quality service and output, the Marketing Assistant will also support the creation and delivery of marketing campaigns both globally and regionally to meet marketing, commercial, and global objectives.
Your duties will also include:
1. Leading on website live chat engagement
2. Supporting business through internal Marketing Support channels
3. Managing marketing data to enable customer communications and support other business functions
4. Pulling data and creating reports from business systems to support the business
5. Managing marketing materials and liaising with local and orders teams as needed
6. Providing general marketing support, including website updates, document asset management, email marketing, and social media support
7. Administering leads to sales & service sales functions using SAP B1 & Pipedrive enterprise systems
8. Supporting the global marketing team in achieving departmental and business goals
Ideally, you will have some experience working with CRM and business systems, and any previous experience in a B2B marketing role would be highly advantageous. Most importantly, you will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
You will also possess:
1. A degree (or equivalent) in Marketing
2. Previous experience in B2B marketing
3. The ability to multi-task and be highly organized
4. Opportunity syndication experience (advantageous)
5. Highly competent in Excel data manipulation
6. Self-motivation, initiative, and adaptability as part of a team
7. Diligence and the capability to work steadily within a busy environment
