An established and recently rebranded architectural studio in Edinburgh is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Architectural Technician or Technologist to support its expanding workload. With several new project commissions secured, the studio requires a technically strong individual who can contribute to the detailed design and delivery of projects across the UK. Working within a collaborative and supportive team environment, the successful candidate will be involved in the technical development and coordination of multi-residential, commercial, and hospitality schemes. This is a full-time, office-based role, with flexibility for occasional home working where appropriate.

Qualified Architectural Technician or Technologist
Demonstrable technical experience, particularly across RIBA Stages 3-5
Advanced proficiency in Revit is essential; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is desirable
Thorough understanding of current Building Regulations and construction detailing
Experience liaising with consultants and coordinating technical information
Ability to prepare accurate, comprehensive drawing and specification packages
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Proactive, organised, and comfortable working collaboratively to meet deadlines
Experience in multi-residential, PBSA, hospitality, refurbishment, or conservation projects would be beneficial
Right to work in the UKDaily Duties and Responsibilities
Producing and coordinating detailed technical drawing packages in Revit
Preparing and managing planning and building warrant submissions
Developing technical solutions through detailed design and construction stages
Coordinating with external consultants, contractors, and internal teams
Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and Building Regulations
Responding to technical queries and supporting project delivery on site where required
Contributing to programme management and maintaining quality standards
Supporting a positive and collaborative studio culture
