Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Technician required to join a specialist in fluid power and fuel systems. The Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Technician will be based remotely, responsible for the installation of hydraulic hoses and fuel pipe systems at customer sites across the UK, with occasional visits to the workshop in Durham. The successful Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Technician will have hands-on experience installing hydraulic and fuel pipework systems, ideally within industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments. Package • Up to £35,000 depending on experience • Enhanced overtime rates • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays • Company van provided • Additional company benefits Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Technician Role • Install hydraulic hoses and fuel pipe systems across sites such as construction, industrial plants, and fuel storage facilities. • Carry out installations at customer sites throughout the UK, with occasional visits to the Durham-based workshop. • Work with various pipe and hose materials including rubber, braided, and reinforced hydraulic hose, as well as steel and fuel-grade pipe. • Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver high-quality installations. Pipefitter / Pipework Engineer / Installation Technician Requirements • Experience in a similar role such as Hydraulic Hose Engineer, Pipefitter, Field Installation Technician, or Service Engineer within fluid power or mechanical environments. • Proven background in installing hydraulic or fuel piping systems. • Relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications, apprentice trained, IPAF, PASMA, or CSCS card advantageous. • Full UK driving licence is essential. • Must be willing to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays (expenses and overnight bonus provided)
