We are looking for a People Team Assistant to join our team in Leeds.
Working as part of a collaborative team, the People Team Assistant will play a key role in supporting a variety of activities, including employee engagement, internal communications, and the coordination of training and recruitment processes. This role would suit someone with experience in administration, events, operations or coordination, who is looking to apply their skills in a people‑centred environment and continue developing within a supportive team.

About The Role
Recruitment:
* Manage shared inboxes and handle routine queries.
* Support candidate screening, shortlisting and maintaining the applicant tracking system (ATS).
* Assist with drafting job descriptions and job adverts.
* Contribute to social media activity promoting the firm and People initiatives.
* Support early careers activities, including careers fairs, insight events and inductions.
* Prepare interview packs and recruitment documentation.
* Help coordinate onboarding for new starters.
* Provide support on a range of People projects.
Employee Engagement:
* Draft and share internal updates, newsletters and People Team communications.
* Proofread and format content to ensure consistency with tone and branding.
* Assist with the design of internal documents and materials.
* Maintain intranet pages and digital channels.
* Support coordination of internal events and colleague engagement activities.
* Contribute to data analysis to support engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
Training:
* Coordinate scheduling and logistics for training sessions and workshops.
* Maintain accurate training records and support reporting.
General:
* Provide wider administrative support to the People Team as needed.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in administration, coordination or office support is essential.
* An interest in improving processes and enhancing efficiency.
* Confident arranging meetings, managing inboxes and general coordination tasks.
* Experience supporting events would be an advantage.
* Familiarity with social media platforms is beneficial
