We have an exciting opportunity in the Cancer and Haematology Academic Research Team for a Clinical Trial Manager. The Cancer & Haematology Academic Research Team is a research support unit working across Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and other affiliated NHS Trusts, delivering clinical trials of all phases.
What you would be doing
The post holder will oversee the full management of a range of Imperial College London sponsored, multi‑centred clinical trials within the Cancer & Haematology and Surgery portfolios. You will be responsible for all aspects of trial management, including close liaison with the Chief and Principal Investigators, regulatory and ethics applications and ensuring trials are conducted according to Imperial College London/NHS Trust systems and processes, to ensure research is developed and delivered to the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
What we are looking for
We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who will be able to hit the ground running in coordinating clinical trials. A working knowledge of the current EU Clinical Trials Directive, UK Clinical Trials regulations, Principles of GCP, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Research Governance Framework legislation is essential.
A flexible attitude is key as you will be working on multiple projects simultaneously within the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in clinical trial management within a supportive and evolving research team.

This is a full‑time post (35 hours per week) based at Hammersmith and South Kensington Campuses.
This role is for a fixed‑term contract until 31 July 2027 in the first instance with the possibility of extension.
