Manage complex conditions such as diabetic foot, ulcers, infections, and wound care. Develop and implement individualised treatment and care plans. Provide expert advice to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. Participate in multidisciplinary team working, including diabetes and vascular services. Lead on clinical decision-making and risk management. Person Specification: Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Podiatry. Registration & Training: Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Postgraduate training in high-risk or diabetic foot care is desirable. Key Skills: Advanced clinical skills in high-risk podiatry and wound management. Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities. Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Leadership and supervisory skills. Good IT and clinical documentation skills. Experience: Significant experience as a Podiatrist, including high-risk caseloads. Experience managing diabetic foot and complex wound care. Experience within an NHS or specialist podiatry service. Experience supervising or mentoring staff is desirable.
