Salary: £35100 per annum

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

We are now seeking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter for a busy manufacturing company based in Bristol. The appropriate candidate will be building of commercial vehicles. Building of commercial vehicles
Responsibilities:
* Fit and Fabricate metal components and structures according to specifications and drawings.
* Read and interpret Engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and production.
* Operate various metal working equipment, including cutting machines, vertical drilling, bending machines and grinders.
* Assemble and install mechanical components and structures.
* Work to engineering drawings
* Measurements using engineering measurement instruments such as Engineers Square, Vernier Calliper, Micrometer, gauges, DTI, Angle Finder etc
Requirements:
* Previous experience in fitting and fabricating.
* Proven track record of producing high-quality mechanical components.
* Strong knowledge of precision fitting and fabricating techniques, including the use of measuring equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications
* Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
* Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
* Preferable but non-essential to have vehicle body building experience.
* Experience in welding techniques also advantageous
