Overview
With a national drive to improve mental health and wellbeing services for children and young people, there’s never been a more important time to join Oxford Health CAMHS.
We’re seeking suitably qualified Mental Health Nurses, Learning Disability Nurses, Occupational Therapists or Social Workers to join our Crisis and Home Treatment Service (CAHTS). This BSW-wide service offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll carry out initial assessments and deliver time‑limited interventions for young people in crisis. Your work will focus on early support and prevention, aiming to reduce the need for longer‑term mental health care.
The CAHTS team provides a high‑quality, responsive service for children, young people and families facing emotional and mental health difficulties. You’ll also be involved in our ongoing service development, based on the i‑Thrive model, ensuring support is timely, appropriate, and delivered by skilled professionals.
Liaison and collaboration are key – you’ll work closely with CAMHS colleagues, Children’s Services, Social Care, Education, and other agencies to ensure holistic and effective care.
Join us and help shape the future of children’s mental health in our community.
