About the Role
We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner with Paediatric First Aid to join a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Brixton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
* Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Carry out observations and contribute to learning journals
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents
* Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
* Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong understanding of EYFS
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Warm, patient, and reliable approach
