ABOUT THE COMPANY

They continue to grow as a critical link in the healthcare delivery chain in New Zealand.
Our client focuses on providing best-in-class products in Gynaecology, Colorectal, Electrosurgical, Surgical Suction, Endoscopy, and Instrumentation categories. Their recently constructed, purpose-built distribution centre in Ashburton enables them to offer these critical medical devices nationwide, serving as the hub of their excellence in the global supply chain.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role reports to the General Manager. As a Medical Territory Manager, you will lead business development efforts to expand market reach and achieve revenue targets. The role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry. It is based in Ashburton; relocation is preferred if outside Ashburton, but candidates from Christchurch or Timaru may be considered with at least two days per week in Ashburton. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Solid experience in medical sales with revenue of $20m+ and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
* Strong understanding of business principles
* Experience in the medical device space in NZ at a senior level, including hospital management, Health NZ, and Pharmac
* Business development experience with strategic sales planning skills
* Team player with a can-do attitude
* Calm under pressure with attention to detail
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Innovative thinker who uses initiative
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
* Willingness to travel as needed
