An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated HR Business Partner to join our client's team based in Oxfordshire. This role is within a thriving secondary school and involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Team.
This position is fully onsite during term time, with a requirement to work closely once a week with the Central HR Team, participating in meetings, events, and learning sessions.
Your focus will be on developing the HR Team at the academy and aligning HR processes with Trust policy and statutory guidelines, reporting to the headteacher for operational requirements and directly to the head of HR. There may be opportunities to support other schools and grow as a multi-site HR Business Partner over time.
What skills/experience are required?
1. Proven experience working in a Schools HR environment
2. Experience managing complex employee relations cases
3. Excellent organizational and communication skills
4. Ability to build strong working relationships
5. Existing HR Business Partner experience or aspiration to advance in HR
6. Strong understanding of education HR legislation and best practices
This role operates in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and prioritization skills.
Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £44,000 - £47,000 FTE
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 4:30 or 8:00 - 4:00, totaling 37 hours/week (consideration for 30 hours/week possible)
