The Role
We are currently recruiting for an A Licenced Aircraft Engineer. This role involves assisting the Crew Chief in overseeing the safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance of all Part-145/A8-23 aircraft maintenance activities within the Aircraft Maintenance department and at detached locations. This is essential for delivering our customer contractual requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for maintenance and certification of aircraft and equipment assigned to you, under the control of the Crew Chief.
- Support aircraft operations and maintenance at the main base and detached locations worldwide.
- Supervise and perform ground movements of assigned aircraft.
- Ensure duties are performed safely and in accordance with Maintenance Manuals and Organisation Exposition.
- Certify maintenance within your scope of authorization.
- Complete all aircraft documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve standards, practices, and procedures.
Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Prior experience in an aircraft maintenance environment (line, base, or workshop).
- Unrestricted CAA Part 66 A Licence with relevant authorizations.
- Over 5 years of proven experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience or understanding of continuous improvement projects.
- Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, confident, and assertive.
- Ability to work within organizational values.
- Medically fit for daily engineering duties, including detachment work.
- Willingness to work shifts as required.
- Security clearance to meet UK and ITAR requirements.
