Overview
KBR is looking for a Project Manager with significant experience in electrical engineering to lead delivery of the major electrical packages for a normally unattended Greenfield facility. The role also involves brownfield aspects requiring interface engagement, acting as the focal point between the client's PMT, the KBR PMT, procurement and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
* Drive the multi‑functional delivery of the RFQ process, integrating with the construction team on ROS dates and build sequence.
* Facilitate stakeholder buy‑in and support engineering disciplines with a broad understanding of the scope.
* Resolve technical issues and liaise with major equipment suppliers as a package engineer or manager.
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients and prospective suppliers.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in electrical engineering.
* Background as a package engineer or package manager working with major equipment suppliers.
* Solid engineering background to resolve technical issues.
* Experience with ICSS design is an advantage.
Location & Contract
Leatherhead. Hybrid working: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
Initial 12‑month contract start immediate, target rate about £70 per hour; request a higher rate if sought.
Likely outside IR35; final decision after Qdos assessment.
