Post-16 PMLD Teacher (Part-Time, Mon–Wed, Long-Term Supply) – Mary Elliot Academy, Walsall £150–£170 per day Start Date: 12/04/2026 The School and Role Mary Elliot Academy is a specialist SEND school supporting learners with profound and multiple learning difficulties. We are seeking a part-time Post-16 PMLD Teacher to deliver a sensory and engagement-based curriculum for a mixed-ability group. Lessons run Monday to Wednesday, with PPA and planning support provided. Learners also follow physiotherapy plans and require personal care support. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: QTS/PGCE with experience teaching PMLD learners Ability to deliver sensory and life-skills-focused lessons Calm, nurturing, and adaptable approach Strong teamwork and collaboration skills What we offer As a Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
