Responsibilities
* Lead service(s) to meet the outcomes of the people supported, in line with the organisational strategy to deliver a best life possible
* Lead the development, management, and review of care planning to deliver people led support enabling shared interests of people supported and colleagues
* Actively promote your service and seek opportunities for innovation and community partnerships
* Through the quality assurance framework, identify and build plans to continually improve the support provided; review and monitor KPI’s, identify areas requiring improvement, and deliver activity to address issues; share improvement plans with colleagues
* Manage the resources available to ensure efficient service delivery in line with contractual and regulatory requirements
* Encourage people supported to actively influence service delivery
* Lead, develop, empower and engage your team to do their very best work every day
* Set expectations and coach and develop your team to feel supported and engaged; develop the team’s capabilities and experience
* Promote the service, region, and Community Integrated Care as a great place to work
* Connect colleagues with the wider charity by engaging them with the strategy and ensuring access to tools, training, policies and support
* Ensure teams have strong two-way communication and can share their thoughts about regional and wider organisation activity
* Motivate colleagues to influence and contribute to day-to-day running; facilitate feedback into the wider organisation
* Ensure colleagues understand requests and enable positive, successful delivery
* Inspire others to progress their careers by identifying internal talent and modelling positive leadership
* Build strong relationships across the regional business unit to seek timely support when needed
Qualifications
* Experience in health or social care with an upbeat, positive manner and passion for supporting people to engage with their community
* Experience working with people who may present behaviours requiring intensive support planning and management to ensure safety and quality of life
* Comfort with basic IT systems; training can be provided
* Professional qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England))
