Electrical Engineer
Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as an Electrical Engineer in one of our Scotland offices – while also taking advantage of work from home days through our hybrid work approach.
Responsibilities
* Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support.
* Undertake the design and review of electrical and ICA elements in wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, such as chemical dosing, pumping stations and sludge treatment units.
* Produce and review client deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
* Liaise and collaborate with our water and other discipline teams including civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineers nationwide.
* Visit site to carry surveys and support liaisons with clients, contractors & suppliers.
* Attend and contribute to design review meetings such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs and SWIFTS.
Qualifications
* A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
* Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution, such as IET.
* A proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications, and calculations with confidence and precision.
* Hands‑on experience in delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater engineering projects.
