About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry. This is a permanent role, working hours per week on a three-rotational shift pattern, ensuring you have variety and balance in your working schedule.
Shift Patterns:
1. Morning Shift: Monday to Friday,
2. Mid Shift: Monday to Thursday, and Friday finish
3. Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday,
Competitive Salary Package: Up to £46,000 (depending on experience), plus shift allowance (£105 per week for Mid and £ per week for Night), overtime, annual bonus, and a Cummins Reward Scheme.

What Youll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, your role will be pivotal to keeping our operations running smoothly and safely. Youll:
7. Safely undertake a full range of maintenance duties within a complex manufacturing environment. The role will be predominantly working in the Assembly, Test and Trim areas ensuring key equipment is returned to production in a timely manner.
8. Fault finding and repair of plant and machinery including automated lines, nut runners, test cells.
9. Following job completion all equipment must be functioning correctly and efficiently.
10. Timely completion of PPMs to schedule.
11. Ensure a timely response to events.
12. Review equipment with a view to pre-empt and prevent equipment failure.
13. Raise requisitions for equipment spares in line with company cost, quality and delivery requirements and submit to supervisor for approval.
14. Respond within skill boundaries for emergency procedure events.
15. Liaise closely with Operations Supervisors on priorities and initiate analysis of data to support corrective engineering work.
16. Support team operation and assist/train others as appropriate.
17. Competently follow safe systems of work to complete tasks including working in confined space/at heights, LOTO where necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
About You:
To succeed in this role, youll need:
18. Recognised apprenticeship (Time served electrician or mechanical fitter).
19. Experienced in PPM techniques.
20. Experience of automated lines (test cells preferable, Siemens S7 PLC knowledge an advantage).
21. Experienced in working within Safe systems of work (LOTO, Working at height, Confined spaces).
22. Computer literate (Maximo, Lotus Notes, Oracle).
23. Able to follow a systematic problem solving process.
24. Robotics experience preferred.
