Overview

We are seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team at Soho Farmhouse (OX7 4JS). At Soho House, the Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the booking, supervision and realisation of private events for members. The coordinator is also an ambassador for the Soho House brand, fully embraces our ethos and supports staff, member and guest experience.

Main Duties

* Complete day‑to‑day administrative tasks, including keeping event enquiries up to date, tracking enquiries and conversions.
* Assist collating event stationery such as menus, place cards and itineraries.
* Assist with completing, checking and submitting budget specs to clients, and monitor event spend to ensure minimums are met without exceeding client expectations.
* Collate function sheets using the events booking system, TripleSeat, and distribute to the relevant operational teams.
* Work closely with the events team as a strong unit, supporting larger events and site takeovers.
* Assist with daily admin jobs assigned by the events team, e.g., send out weekly function sheets and updates to all departments and communicate changes accordingly.
* Assist with front‑of‑house operational tasks such as room drops, express check‑ins and hosting.
* Utilise the accommodation booking system, Opera, to book and allocate rooms.


Qualifications & Requirements

* At least 1+ years of professional experience in a similar coordinator capacity (Sales, Events, Marketing, Customer Service)
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external)
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent customer service orientation
* Fluent in English
* Organised and reliable
* Ability to work and maximise relationships within a diverse team
* Computer literacy within Opera, OpenTable, Micros, Adaco, TripleSeat (advantageous)


Working Hours

* Varying shift times across the seven days, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays and opening/closing.
* Average 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 am–6 pm.
* Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to attend events and meetings outside core hours, e.g., evenings and weekends on occasion.


Transport

Subsidised transport rate offered from: Chipping Norton (OX7) & Banbury (OX15 & OX16).
