We’re currently recruiting for a Yard Administrator to join a busy automotive team in Corby. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of vehicle movements, data entry, and communication between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing records of incoming and outgoing vehicles
2. Liaising with the site team to resolve vehicle rejections or returns
3. Handling customer repair returns to ensure a quick turnaround
4. Uploading data and maintaining accurate electronic records
5. Responding to phone and email enquiries in a professional manner
6. General administrative duties including filing and document control
About You:
7. Previous administrative experience (essential)
8. Full UK driving licence (essential – must be over 21 with no more than 6 points)
9. Computer literate with strong Excel skills
10. Excellent written and verbal communication
11. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
12. Able to work independently and as part of a wider operations team
13. Positive, flexible, and proactive approach
