Job title: Heating and Ventilation Pipe Fitter Apprentice
What are we looking for?
We are seeking individuals with a genuine interest in construction and the built environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and ambitious, with the potential to progress to supervisory or management roles within five to ten years.
Role Overview
This role is based permanently at our off-site manufacturing centre in Oldbury. You will work as part of a team assisting experienced tradespeople with the installation of mechanical service modules for delivery to various UK projects. These modules are installed on-site by a separate team to create buildings such as hospitals, schools, and airports. As a mechanical pipe fitter, you will be involved in assembling steel frames with welded pipework, installing pipework into frames using modern methods, and learning principles of valve arrangements and mechanical plant. You will gain traditional and modern pipe fitting skills, fabrication, and installation techniques, contributing daily to exciting projects.

Entry Requirements
* Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions, with a valid work permit if applicable.
* 3 GCSEs, preferably grades 7-4 in Maths and English.
What to Expect from the Apprenticeship
The programme offers a formal college education leading to Level 2 and/or 3 apprenticeship standards. You will develop broad trade skills through on-the-job training, supported by experienced professionals and a dedicated mentor. Regular feedback will help you progress towards completing your apprenticeship.
