Responsibilities
* Work to machining tolerances ensuring finished parts meet required specifications.
* Communicate with Engineering, Production and Quality Departments to complete work according to schedule.
* Set up and operate CNC lathes.
* Write and edit CNC programs using Fanuc programming language from engineering drawings.
* Machining components to drawings and specifications.
* Use various types of measuring equipment.
* Work to tight deadlines, maintain high targets in a fast paced environment.
* Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to health and safety regulations.

* 4 day working week, Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 17:00.

Required Skills & Qualifications
* Conversant with Fanuc programming language with the ability to write and edit Fanuc programmes from engineering drawings.
* Mechanically minded, hands‑on, methodical worker with high standards.
* Qualifications and experience of working with Fanuc‑controlled CNC lathes.
* Ability to use various types of measuring equipment.
* Can understand and read engineering drawings.
* Must be able to work to tight deadlines and high targets due to the fast paced nature of the role.
* Maintain good housekeeping, adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Wage dependent upon experience.
Required Experience
* Programming and setting CNC lathes: 6 years.
Hours of Work
* Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 17:00.
