Role: Graduate (12 months+ commercial exp) Account Executive

Salary: £35-40k + bonus + commission (Uncapped) – OTE (£50-65k year one)

As part of their continued growth, we are building a brand-new Business Development team in Manchester, and they’re looking for ambitious graduates to join this exciting venture.
The Opportunity
As a Graduate Account Executive, you’ll play a key role in their commercial strategy, helping identify, engage, and win some of the most recognisable enterprise brands in the world. Think Netflix, Uber, Nike, Amazon etc.
This is a unique role that blends research, strategy, and commercial creativity. You’ll learn how to navigate complex global organisations, understand who the key decision-makers are, and figure out what drives their payments strategy — then work with experienced consultants to craft the perfect pitch.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Market & company research: Use LinkedIn, industry databases, and online resources to identify and map target organisations.
* Stakeholder analysis: Understand corporate structures and identify key influencers and decision-makers within payments, finance, and eCommerce teams.
* Strategic outreach: Develop compelling approaches and identify the right “hook” to secure meetings with major enterprise prospects.
* Pitch collaboration: Work with the wider commercial and consultancy teams to design pitch decks, proposals, and business cases tailored to each opportunity.
* Commercial learning: Gain first-hand exposure to enterprise-level sales strategy and client engagement.
You’ll be working in a supportive, collaborative environment where your ideas will be valued, and your growth will be actively encouraged.
About You
We’re looking for graduates who are curious, analytical, and commercially minded, people who want to understand how business works and who aren’t afraid to pick up the phone, do the research, and find smart ways to open doors.
You will have:
* A 2:1 degree or above (any discipline considered)
* Some experience in sales, lead generation, or client-facing work (internship, placement, or graduate role)
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal
* The confidence to engage senior stakeholders and the creativity to think beyond the obvious
* A proactive, ambitious attitude and desire to build a long-term career in business development and consultancy
