You'll join our friendly team of assistants, technicians and pharmacists. You'll work flexibly to deliver a Pharmacy Service rotating between Dispensary, Aseptic services, Stores, and Ward Distribution Dispensary - dispensing medication for inpatients and outpatients from the pharmacy robot.
Medicines Optimisation - support team on the ward, checking named patient medications and dispensing from the trolley or ordering from the dispensary under the supervision of a pharmacist or technician on a designated ward.
Aseptic services - working in our newly refurbished aseptic suite at the Beacon Production Unit supporting the team with preparing chemotherapy treatments, this is a Pharmacy run production unit with specialist equipment to help prepare individual patient treatments.
Ward Distribution - carry out a medicines top-up service on wards and will assist with other medicines related duties i.e. medicines expiry checks, stock checks and returning medicines.
Stores - Receiving deliveries of pharmaceutical goods to support the store person.
