The Altro Group is looking for a Head of FP&A to join the Finance team. The Group FP&A team acts as financial business partners to senior managers within the Altro Floors & Walls and Autoglym divisions, responsible for preparing tailored financial reports and analysis, including monthly management accounts, business performance analysis, annual budgets, and 5-year plans.
This role leads the FP&A team of 6 Management Accountants. It is a full-time (37.5 hours/week), permanent, hybrid position (minimum of 3 days in our Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire HQ).

Ideal candidate:
We seek an experienced finance professional with a strong FP&A background to lead our team. The candidate should hold a CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or MBA in Finance, with proven experience in FP&A within a complex, global commercial environment.
Key skills include managing financial planning and reporting systems, preparing detailed management accounts, and conducting business performance analysis across sales, margins, manufacturing, inventory, and working capital. Experience with system implementation (e.g., JDE or similar) and complex group financial reporting is essential.
You should be adept at developing financial models, interpreting data, and providing clear insights for decision-making. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are necessary to manage the FP&A team, with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
