Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong commitment to their development and well-being. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, ensuring their needs are met while fostering their growth through play and structured activities. The candidate will be part of our baby room team.
The working ours are, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with flexible working between 8am - 6pm.
Duties
* Supervise and engage with children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
* Communicate effectively with children in English to support language development and understanding.
* Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and playtime, ensuring a structured environment.
* Collaborate with parents to discuss children's progress and any concerns regarding their development.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare area, ensuring it is safe and welcoming for children.
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is required, a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children and parents alike.
* A genuine love for working with children and fostering their growth in a nurturing environment.
