Are you a creative visual storyteller with a passion for video production and digital content? A leading public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Video Content Manager to join their visual content team on a 12-month contract, contributing to high-impact communications projects that support strategic priorities.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a dynamic content team producing compelling visual material for use across digital and social channels. The role focuses on delivering high-quality video and photography assets that align with public engagement goals and policy communications.
Key Responsibilities
* Capture and edit professional video and still content for social media and digital platforms
* Collaborate with news and marketing teams to produce accurate and engaging visual assets
* Plan and coordinate shoots, including logistics and scheduling
* Train colleagues on basic video editing tools and techniques
* Maintain quality, accessibility, and brand consistency across all outputs
* Organise and archive content for re-use and repurposing
* Act as a point of contact for video-related queries and support
* Demonstrable experience in video production and photography using modern camera tech
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud – particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop
* Strong portfolio of content created for social platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
* Knowledge of accessibility standards in video content
* Full, clean UK driving licence
